Abstract Apatite-related zirconium, carbonate and zinc-containing calcium phosphates have been synthesized in aqueous solutions at different molar ratios Ca2+ : Zr4+ Zn2+ PO43- CO32- = (10-2x-y/2-z) x y (6-z) z (x 0.05, 0.1, 0.5 1.0; 0.5, 0, 0.5) heated to 600 oC during 2 hours. X-ray powder diffraction FTIR spectroscopy data confirmed the formation of single phase modified apatite-related with partial substitution by anionic sublattice (B-type). The calculated lattice parameters for prepared Zr4+, Zn2+- correlate amount dopants their composition. sizes do not depend on composition initial solution vary range 30-45nm. highest antimicrobial effect against Staphylococcus aureus strain was found phosphate Ca9Zr0.5(PO4)6(OH)2 (at its adding 10 mM). Modification Zr-containing anion decreased Pseudomonas aeruginosa survival ten times.

BACKGROUND: Atherosclerosis is a condition which disrupts blood flow due to plaque build-up inside the arteries. Under conditions where consecutive plaques are prevailing hammer principle exhibited. OBJECTIVE: The pressure and shear stress produced at an infinitesimal area act as governing equation for stent modeling. leading order lays foundation design of cardiac stents with definite dimensions. Five different biomaterials stainless steel 316, cobalt, chromium, platinum, Poly lactic acid were selected material assessment. RESULT: Static Transient analysis period 1 10 secs implemented without crimper. performance in terms stress, strain analyzed. Hydroxyapatite (HAP) is a widely used biomaterial due to its excellent bioactivity, biocompatibility, and structural similarity the mineral component of human bone teeth. However, synthesis HAP typically relies on expensive non-renewable precursors, which can limit widespread applications. This study investigates extraction purification from cockle shells, are readily available renewable source calcium carbonate. The hydroxyapatite rich in carbonate, promising method for producing biomedical applications bioactivity biocompatibility. use calcination process wet slurry precipitation technique produce seashells, focusing effect reaction time phosphate (KH2PO4) oxide (CaO) production. EDX reported Ca/P ratio 1.61 synthesized by chemical 2 hours reaction. Meanwhile, XRD results indicate that 4-hour produces more crystalline than shorter times, highlighting importance synthesis. research demonstrates potential utilizing seashell waste as valuable natural resource healthcare management.
