Background/Objectives:
Parkinson’s
disease
(PD)
is
a
progressive
neurodegenerative

loss
of
dopaminergic
neurons
leading
to
debilitating
motor
and

Beyond
its
well-known
neurological
features,
emerging
evidence
underscores
pivotal
role

axis
gastrointestinal
microbiota
in
PD
pathogenesis.
Dysbiosis
has
been
strongly
linked

with
increased
intestinal
permeability,
chronic
inflammation,

neurotoxic
metabolites

may
exacerbate
neuronal

Methods:
This
review
delves
into
complex
interplay
between
dysbiosis,

on
