Berry fruit seeds which are considered as a industry waste product can be source of oil with unique chemical, physical, and nutritional properties. An investigation of the ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) polyphenol-rich aqueous extracts from blackberry, chokeberry and raspberry pomaces was carried out. The aim study to choose optimal conditions for UAE in order obtain rich phenolic compounds. optimization out based on response surface methodology. variable were amplitude ultrasound wave time, whereas responses total polyphenol content antioxidant capacity. Based ANOVA analysis, mathematical models fitted verified. most effective time 98% 5.00 min, 78% 10.32 min 90% 11.56 blackberry pomace, pomace respectively. actual results obtained optimized comparable predicted by models. Additionally, anthocyanin determined high-performance liquid chromatography assay. It proven that methodology could be a useful tool processes obtaining berry fruit pomaces.

Purple-fleshed sweet potato (PFSP) and yellow-fleshed (YFSP) are crops highly valued for their nutritional benefits rich bioactive compounds. These compounds include carotenoids, flavonoids (including anthocyanins), phenolic acids etc. which present in both the leaves roots of these potatoes. PFSP YFSP offer numerous health benefits, such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, neuroprotective properties. Blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum L.) has high nutritional value for human health due to its abundant vitamin C, flavonoids, and organic acids. However, breeding genetic research have been severely hindered by the lack of scientific tools such as molecular markers. Here, we identified 14,258 EST-SSR loci from 9531 CDS sequences with lengths greater than 1 kb, which comprised 6211 mononucleotide repeats, 4277 dinucleotide 2469 trinucleotide repeats. We then randomly selected 228 PCR amplification gel electrophoresis imaging in Ribes collection Northeast Agricultural University (95 blackcurrant cultivars 12 other accessions). As a result, 31 pairs markers produced clear reproducible bands expected size. Based on 107 accessions, allele number (Na), information index (I), observed heterozygosity (Ho), (He), polymorphic content (PIC) were 2-5, 0.23-1.32, 0.07-0.71, 0.11-0.68, 0.14-0.67, respectively. For gene pool, neighbor-joining population structure analysis revealed three clusters, did not align well their geographical origins. results, two sets 21 19 Power Core (PC) Hunter (CH) programs. The integrated core germplasm (IC) set 27 derived PC CH harbored diversity, where retention rate accounted 98.9% pool. SSR markers, data, germplasms presented this study lay solid foundation phylogenetic study, breeding, conservation genetics Ribes, especially nigrum.
