Studies have demonstrated that the supplementation of oligosaccharides and Lactobacillus has potential to alleviate food allergies. In this study, gastrointestinal tolerance adhesion properties three anti-allergic strains were evaluated in vitro. Subsequently, five incubated with each selected strain determine which combination could significantly promote proliferation. The ability Lactobacillus-oligosaccharide combinations intervene allergic responses was assessed using a bone marrow-derived dendritic cells (BMDCs) splenocytes co-culture model. results indicated Lactiplantibacillus plantarum (Lp) exhibited significant resistance acidic conditions, bile salts, pepsin trypsin, as well excellent hydrophobicity, auto-aggregation, antioxidant properties, Caco-2 adhesion. Moreover, Lp co-cultured fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS) produced higher levels short-chain fatty acids. Furthermore, Lp-FOS suppressed expression surface markers CD40 CD86 on BMDCs. Additionally, DCs-splenocytes model revealed upregulated percentage Th1 Tregs, downregulated Th2 Th17 cells, release pro-inflammatory cytokines. Overall, study highlights functions synbiotic Lp-FOS, will provide theoretical basis for intervention allergy by dietary supplement.

The introduction of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) to treat mycoses can be a natural alternative chemical antifungal agents. This research aims screen and characterize the properties LAB isolates that have been collected from food against fungal species involved in human mycoses. 300 isolated 35 distinct biotopes were tested vitro for activity six different fungi. Among these, three strains, designated this study, 2GP, 4FB, 10SB demonstrated effective showed ability grow under varying pH (3–11), temperature (20–45°C), sodium chloride concentrations (0–8%), are identified as Lactiplantibacillus plantarum by rDNA16s gene sequencing. They further subjected various treatments identify nature substances they produced, measuring diameter zone inhibition, which decreased 19.333±1.528 mm 4.333±1.155 20.667±1.155 5±1 19.667±2.082 5.667±1.155 10SB. Their cell-free supernatant (CFS) enzymatic treatment its analysis FTIR, UV-visible well HPLC-UV revealed production active compounds, including organic acids, peptide hydrogen peroxide. Additionally, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) these strains caused damage filamentation, biofilm formation, yeast cell morphology. results obtained suggest offer biological diseases those due Candida albicans, applying their CFS.

Lacticaseibacillus species have shown potential in managing hyperglycemia, hypercholesterolemia, and oxidative stress, depending on the strain species. This study aimed to isolate a novel rhamnosus from healthy newborns assess its hypoglycemic antioxidative activity, along with other probiotic properties. A non-hemolytic L. LBUX2302 was isolated, it exhibited survival rates of 2.7%, 22%, 27.5% at pH 2, 3, 5 for 120 min. It metabolized various carbon sources showed resistance gentamicin, dicloxacillin, penicillin; coaggregated Salmonella typhi ATCC14028, Staphylococcus aureus STCC6538, Escherichia coli O157:H7. hydrophobicity, autoaggregation, adhesion HaCat, HeLa, MCF-7, SK-LU-1, SW620 cell lines. also extracellular activity bile salt hydrolase. Enzymatic inhibition assays revealed 66% 24% inhibitions α-amylase α-glucosidase, respectively. Its cell-free supernatant inhibited DPPH (89%), hydroxyl (81%), superoxide anion radicals (61%). Also, antioxidant observed whole cells fragments. Finally, presence ferulic acid detected. The results highlight as promising effects, warranting further vivo evaluation possible inclusion functional food health formulations.
