ABSTRACT A novel dual‐wavelength ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) fingerprint was established, 56 common peaks were confirmed and attributed to the source of medicinal materials, 13 chromatographic them identified by UHPLC quadrupole time‐of‐flight (Q‐TOF)‐MS/MS UHPLC‐UV method. Furthermore, a simple sensitive HPLC‐quadrupole trap (Q‐TRAP)‐MS/MS developed for simultaneous determination 16 active components with electrospray ionization (ESI) switching between positive negative modes in single run. The above two methods successfully applied quality evaluation Guanxinjing capsule (GXJC). Finally, statistical analysis including principal component (PCA), hierarchical cluster (HCA), orthogonal partial least squares discriminate (OPLS‐DA) applied, variables great contribution different groups samples screened. This study not only provides rapid, accurate, comprehensive qualitative quantitative method GXJC but it also reference workflow other traditional Chinese medicines.
