Effects of Lemongrass Essential Oil on Key Aromas of Pickled Radish During Storage Using HS–GC–IMS and in Silico Approaches

To
investigate
the
effects
of
lemongrass
essential
oil
on
key
volatile
aroma
compounds
pickled
radish
(PR)
during
storage,
this
study
used
headspace–gas
chromatography–ion
mobility
spectrometry,
fingerprint
analysis,
multivariate
statistical
and
molecular
docking
to
different
PR
samples.
The
results
indicated
that
a
total
48
aromatic
were
identified.
Fingerprint
analysis
revealed
profiles
samples
at
storage
stages
different.
Using
screening
criteria

The Therapeutic Potential of West Indian Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) Essential Oil-Based Ointment in the Treatment of Pitted Keratolysis

Background:
Due
to
their
antibacterial
activities,
essential
oils
can
be
potential
alternatives
antibiotics
in
certain
cases.
West
Indian
lemongrass
(Cymbopogon
citratus)
oil
(LEO)
is
effective
against
a
broad
range
of
bacteria
by
inhibiting
spore
formation,
and
considered
safe.
In
this
study,
we
demonstrated
its
therapeutical
the
treatment
pitted
keratolysis
(PK),
superficial
skin
infection
affecting
pressure-bearing
areas
plantar
surfaces.
Methods:
For
vitro
efficacy
testing,
LEO
was
mixed
into
different
ointment
bases,
including
Hydrogelum
methylcellulose

Bacillus
thuringiensis.

Myrtaceae
family
widely
distributed

Brazil
and
South
American.

have

between
