Residues of nitro-containing drugs in food and the environment have aroused social concern because their excessive use for treatment human animal diseases. The disadvantages complex time-consuming pretreatments existing methods make it imperative to develop novel methods. Herein, with aid recognition probe MCLA, an excellent selective method detection nitroimidazoles (NDZs) was developed based on high-performance liquid chromatography combined ultraviolet (UV) degradation chemiluminescence (HPLC-UV-CL). study proposed innovative process formation SO4 •-, •OH, •NO via advanced oxidation processes NDZs. Six studied NDZs achieved baseline separation within 24 min limits as low 3 ng/mL (S/N = 3). is efficient, cost-effective, does not require complicated purification steps. This presents a unique approach contaminants provides new insights into monitoring processes.
