The aim of this study was to compare the functional properties linseed oil powders made three types wall material (OSA starch + maltodextrin, OSA nutriose, and inulin) two emulsion phases (micro- nanoemulsion). For these independent variables, prepared emulsions (flow curves viscosity) resulting (encapsulation efficiency, particle size distribution, water activity, bulk tapped density, Carr’s index, color parameters, thermal stability) were determined. results showed that viscosity most powder affected by type. All demonstrated Newtonian-like behavior, with values ranging from 29.07 48.26 mPa·s. addition nutriose induced significant variation in parameter, nanoemulsification leading a 1.6-fold increase compared microemulsification. application prepare prior spray-drying resulted lower surface content (by 78.8–88.5%), density 1.7–14.2%), index 7.6–14.0%), as well higher encapsulation efficiency 5.9–17.0%). decreased oxidative stability 30.9–51.1%) obtained nanoemulsified related 4.7–15.9-fold content. Powders produced using inulin had smallest uniform sizes, showing minimal between derived nano- microemulsified emulsions.

Heat stress is a critical challenge in the poultry industry. It arises when birds are exposed to elevated ambient temperatures beyond their thermoneutral zone, often exacerbated by high humidity and inadequate ventilation. This condition disrupts birds' ability maintain thermal homeostasis, leading physiological behavioral changes such as increased panting, reduced feed intake, water consumption. These responses aim dissipate heat but result energy imbalances, oxidative stress, impaired immune function. Green tea polyphenols (GTPs) mitigate modulating pathways, primarily scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) enhancing antioxidant defense mechanisms. pathways play pivotal role neutralizing ROS generated during inflammation, exposure electrophilic compounds. action helps restore cellular balance enhances overall mechanisms converting harmful free radicals into less molecules, oxygen. Nuclear factor (erythroid-derived 2)-like 2 (Nrf2) plays significant character activation of enzymatic antioxidants network. translocates nucleus upon activation, binds response elements (AREs) promoter regions target genes, upregulates expression key enzymes. Therefore, regulation Nrf2 considered molecular marker mitigating effects its detoxification enzymes, protecting against damage inflammation induced temperatures. exploratory review summarizes anti-oxidative GTPs poultry. highlights cytoprotective basis epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), particularly Nrf2-mediated which enhance systems protect damage.

This study investigates the therapeutic potential of Lippia origanoides essential oil (LOEO) in neurological and pharmaceutical applications. The chemical composition LOEO was analyzed using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS), revealing major constituents, such as carvacrol, thymol, γ-gurjunene, known for their antioxidant antimicrobial properties. demonstrated significant acetylcholinesterase (AChE)-inhibitory activity, particularly a nanoformulation that enhances bioavailability stability. Additionally, constituent when tested isolation, also exhibited AChE-inhibitory activity comparable to nanoformulation. Molecular docking analysis indicated strong binding affinities between compounds AChE, supporting its neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s. silico pharmacokinetic predictions revealed favorable absorption blood–brain barrier penetration profiles key constituents. Despite promising results, this acknowledges need vivo validation long-term stability assessments Future research should focus on pharmacodynamic studies evaluating oil’s effectiveness animal models. These findings highlight valuable candidate developing natural therapies diseases.
