This study evaluates the potential of utilizing tuna bone byproducts for acid‐soluble collagen (ASC) extraction in Indonesia, targeting biomedical industry’s growing demand. Through SuperPro Designer Simulator, research assesses economic feasibility four varying input capacities (50, 100, 500, and 1000 kg). The simulation reveals that most economical production process occurs with kg raw materials, yielding a net present value (NPV) $3,848,000, an internal rate return (IRR) 35.55%, payback period (PBP) 2.16 years. 1000‐kg scenario emerged as capacity due to its ability adequately cover substantial initial investment required. outcome highlights importance scale efficiencies operational optimizations enhancing profitability, suggesting large‐scale operations are essential justifying significant capital expenditures involved. project faces challenges limited availability materials current method’s efficiency, which could hinder scaling up production. identifies strategic solutions these by reducing through contract shared manufacturing systems lower upfront costs improve higher efficiency yield. These measures aim address material scarcity enhance method efficacy, making more sustainable economically viable. advocates further development optimize byproduct solution establish competitive approach within Indonesia’s biodiversity‐rich maritime sector.
