To limit the spread of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, a nationwide lockdown started in Italy March 2020. In this unpredictable situation, cross-sectional study using an online questionnaire was carried out by Observatory on Food Surplus, Recovery and Waste CREA Nutrition Centre. The aim work to evaluate how Italian habits changed during period, determinants changes, effect food waste prevention. sample 2678 respondents, 62% showed low Adherence Mediterranean Diet (AMD). During many participants improved quality their diet, increasing consumption fruit (24.4%), vegetables (28.5%), legumes (22.1%), nuts (12%), fish or shellfish (14%). Unfavorable changes were observed with excessive sweets pastries (36.9%) comfort foods (22.7%), lack physical activity (37.2%). main novelty examination dietary identified cluster analysis. This study offers a comprehensive analysis of the anthropometric and nutritional status among Serbian adults aged 18-64 years, using data from EFSA EU Menu food consumption survey conducted between 2017 2022. Based on nationally representative sample 1139 participants, this research utilized validated 24 h dietary recalls measurements. The results indicate significant imbalances, characterized by heavy reliance energy-dense foods, such as grains, fats, meat, with an underrepresentation fruits, vegetables, dairy. Men exhibited higher total energy intake, obtaining more meat while women consumed fruits vegetables but often did not meet recommended protein intake. Approximately 67.8% participants had insufficient fiber 15.4% recommendations, particularly women. Anthropometric measurements showed high prevalence overweight obesity, especially men. These findings highlight critical deficits in adequacy and, clinical practice perspective, underscore necessity for formulation policies, targeted public health strategies aimed at improving habits, provide evidence development national guidelines to support preventive healthcare strategies, management diet-related conditions, obesity metabolic disorders.

The COVID-19 pandemic and especially the lockdowns coming with it have been a disruptive event also for food consumption. In order to study impact of on eating habits, self-reported changes in food-related behaviours were investigated ten European countries by means an online survey. A latent class cluster analysis distinguished five clusters showed that different types consumers can be based how they react as regards their habits. While resilient 60% sample, another 35% reported more enjoyment cooking eating, time kitchen family meals. Among those, slight majority signs mindful indicated deliberate choices increased consumption healthy food, whereas minority indulgence food. Food waste represents an important aspect with social, economic, and environmental implications. As previous studies underlined, the COVID-19 pandemic led to changes in food consumption patterns among consumers. The aim of study was investigate main household management during Romania compared period before pandemic. Factors affecting were also analyzed. When the COVID-19 pandemic subsided, war in Ukraine led to further disruptions consumers' daily behaviours, with rising prices for food and energy. We conducted a survey study on self-reported changes food-related consumer behaviour ten European countries compared results similar two years ago. A latent class cluster analysis distinguished five clusters showed that different types of consumers can be based how they react crisis as regards their eating habits. 19% participants reported no major changes, 32% mostly terms more price sensitivity.
