Purpose
Digital
transformation
(DX)
is
advancing
in
the
post-pandemic
era,
yet
regional
disparities
remain
pronounced.
This
uneven
distribution
may
be
attributed
to
cities’
doing
business
environment.
As
environment
comprises
various
components,
we
aim
explore
how
these
components
interact
affect
local
firms'
DX,
thereby
identifying
which
configurations
of
contribute
DX.
Design/methodology/approach
The

study
contains
seven
components:
public
services,
government,
legal,
innovation,
market,
human
resources
and
financial
services
environments.

adopt
a
fuzzy-set
qualitative
comparative
analysis

Against
the
backdrop
of
global
economic
transformation
and
sustainable
development,
green
technological
innovation
has
become
a
core
driver
for
enhancing
national
competitiveness
addressing
environmental
challenges.
With
profound
changes
in
production
methods
innovation,
new
quality
productive
forces
(NQPF)
have
emerged
as
key
innovation.
This
study
aims
to
explore
mechanisms
through
which
NQPF
influence
Regional
Green
Technology
Innovation
(RGTI),
with
particular
focus
on
mediating
role
intellectual
property
protection
(IPP).
Using
panel
data
from
31
provinces
China
2011
2022,
we
conduct
an
empirical
analysis
employing
spatial
Durbin
model
mediation
effect
model.
The
results
indicate
that
significantly
promote
RGTI,
particularly
resource
utilization
efficiency
greening
processes.
However,
also
identifies
inverted
U-shaped
relationship
between
primarily
driven
by
local
dynamics,
where
positive
diminishes
after
reaching
certain
threshold.

IPP

directly

but
