A global clean energy transition is required for achieving ambitious climate goals and ensuring sustainable development. While technological advancements are crucial, they not sufficient on their own to meet Paris Agreement (PA) targets. Integrating lifestyle changes, particularly in sectors such as transport residential use of energy, into policies modeling framework gaining recognition research. This study explores the impact changes system CO2 emissions using PROMETHEUS model, an advanced energy–economy–environment model. In this research we present scenarios which reduced private car increased adoption public energy-savings behavior households, gradually introduced complement policy measures within framework. We explore impacts with different levels evaluate effects various behavioral shifts consumption emissions. Results show that even under current policies, can reduce demand by 5% 2030 10% 2050. When combined decarbonization reductions much more significant, leading a 35% reduction 2050 compared baseline scenario. Overall, findings suggest when effectively integrated measures, carbon emissions, alleviate pressure supply, cost burden producers consumers.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to study the governance effect total environmental target constraint policy (TETC) on border polluted areas. China’s administrative areas are “pollution havens.” analyzes how TETC affects pollution situation in sets overall emission reduction targets for each province, and achievement these closely related promotion local officials.
