Personal care and household products (PCHPs) often contain endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) that pose health risks, especially for women. Women, frequent users of PCHPs, are exposed to approximately 168 daily. However, there gaps in understanding women’s knowledge, risk perceptions, beliefs regarding these chemicals, as well how constructs influence their avoidance behavior. Existing questionnaires on EDCs PCHPs lack reliability comprehensiveness. Guided by the Health Belief Model, this study developed a self-administered questionnaire targeting four key constructs: beliefs, behaviors related six commonly found (lead, parabens, Bisphenol A, phthalates, triclosan, perchloroethylene). The was distributed 200 women at in-person events online. internal consistency tested using Cronbach’s alpha. included items assessing seven five behavior each chemical. alpha values indicated strong across all constructs. This newly offers reliable tool toward PCHPs. These findings could inform public research intervention strategies aimed reducing exposure EDCs.
