Promoting electronic certificates (e-certificates) is an important convenience measure to realize the high efficiency and intelligence of digital government services. This study develops a research model based on behavioral reasoning theory (BRT) regulatory focus (RFT) understand public's application behavior e-certificates, thus expanding empirical exploration service from perspective audience psychological motivation. A two-stage mixed-method approach used: first phase involved qualitative interviews determine reasons for against applying e-certificates; second comprised quantitative with 496 valid samples using PLS-SEM examine model. Socio-Demographics and Citizens’ Use of the E-Government Services: A Longitudinal Analysis of the E-Government Survey Data in Korea DOI

This study aimed to empirically analyze the relationship between socio-demographics (such as gender, age, education, income, and employment status) use of web-based mobile e-government services in Korea by utilizing a repeated cross-sectional survey data from 2015 2020. It focused on both general domain specific services, namely, Gov24, Hometax, E-people, representing information, financial transaction, e-participation respectively. This article examines how the Asylum Support Enablement (ASPEN) card – a prepayment provided to UK asylum seekers enacts their alterity in ways that problematise techno-optimist narrative of digital technologies as promoters financial inclusion. Drawing on analysis 53 documents alongside 21 interviews with seekers, refugees, advocacy organisations and technology providers, proceeds four steps.
