With the ongoing expansion of global economic activities, environmental degradation has emerged as a progressively severe challenge. The Sustainable Development Goals are significantly impacted by this issue, making it essential to establish symbiotic relationship between development and protection. In context, an investigation into efforts OECD promote ecological protection assumes critical role, given its prominent position leading cooperation organization. Therefore, we examine efficiency, financial development, renewable energy, industrialization, footprint in 36 countries from 1995 2018. An empirical analysis employing fully modified Ordinary Least Square technique reveals inverted U-shaped curve efficiency footprint, supporting Kuznets (EKC) hypothesis countries. Moreover, research that industrialization exacerbate damage, while advancement energy plays pivotal role controlling fostering conservation. Furthermore, introducing interaction terms, find weaken positive effect on reinforces it. Finally, findings Dumitrescu-Hurlin panel causality show causal all three variables, namely consumption, is bidirectional. contrast, degree unidirectional. These provide practical policy recommendations for sustainable offers valuable insights lessons can inform formulation relevant policies other regions. Overall, study not only innovatively enriches theoretical content EKC perspective but also important guidance significance.

Abstract Environmental sustainability is increasingly being prioritized by governments around the world, particularly in emerging economies. This study examined role of green finance and technological innovation environmental using “load capacity factor”, also takes into account natural resource depletion forest cover. used annual data from 2000 to 2018 for economies: Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Turkey Mexico. Methods analysis included cross‐section augmented autoregressive distributed lags (CS‐ARDL) model, along with validation common correlated mean group (CCEMG) (AMG). The results show that finance, forested areas consistently have a positive impact on sustainability, while has negative impact. findings CS‐ARDL are consistent those CCEMG AMG. makes recommendations economies need prioritize REDD+ (Reducing Emissions Deforestation Forest Degradation) initiatives implement decoupling policies, addition technology achieve sustainability.

Governments around the world have enacted many policies to reduce environmental pollution and carbon dioxide (CO2) emission. This study aimed determine understand relationship between innovation, renewable energy consumption, foreign direct investment inflows, economic growth CO2 emission in Vietnam. Information was collected annually based on annual data of General Statistics Office Vietnam World Bank from 2000 2022. The authors use unrestricted fixed effects resolve problems using panel method. results indicate that innovation positively affects However, consumption has a negative effect In addition, FDI inflows strongly positive pollution. paper also provides some recommendations can assist developing green sustainable economy technology revolution 5.0 achieve United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) over long-term period.

In the contemporary global landscape, intersection of innovation, foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows, economic growth, and renewable energy consumption has become a focal point academic, economic, policy discussions. As nations strive to navigate complex challenges sustainable development, understanding intricate relationships among these critical variables becomes imperative for shaping effective policies strategies. This study examines interrelationship between determinants consumption. holistic framework, paper tests nexus We analyse variables' potential causal linkages feedback mechanisms using qualitative quantitative approaches. ABSTRACT The wave of digitalization has spread across all countries in the world, with lasting environmental consequences medium and long term. On flip side, impact resource richness, including its exploitation consumption, been an age‐long debate among policymakers, particularly emerging markets. As such, this study examines effect natural resources (NR), digital economy, clean energy consumption on ecological footprint (EF) load capacity factor (LCF) from 2000 to 2022. current enriches literature by assessing different dimensions economy both demand side supply quality. results augment mean group estimator suggest that NR economic growth increase EF models. However, indicators except ICT goods exports, alleviate EF. same set variables reduce also LCF for selected countries. Renewable (REC) heterogeneous effects LCF, suggesting is not adequately consumed In addition, direction causality flows A bidirectional exists between REC EF, LCF. Based findings, it recommended develop more technologies, intensify process promotion, mobilize benefits transition a sustainable environment.
