In recent years, the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) region has faced pressing environmental concern, containing deforestation, pollution, biodiversity depletion, increasing vulnerability to change. Since many member countries depend highly on Bengal's ecosystem livelihoods economic activities, addressing such challenges is crucial sustainable development. This research examines impacts forestry, urbanization, financial inclusion load capacity factor (LCF) in period 2000–2022. The study seeks understand factors influencing regional LCF using econometric methods, as cross-sectional dependence, slope homogeneity tests, second-generation unit root panel cointegration analyses. Driscoll Kraay Standard Error (DKSE) method reveals a U-shaped connection between income LCF, supporting hypothesis Load Capacity Curve (LCC) BIMSTEC zone. result indicates strong positive connections while highlighting adverse effects inclusion. Additional quantile regression (QR) analysis validation confirms steady association across various quantiles. highlights benefits forestry urbanization drawbacks population size. suggests promoting balanced urban development, cautious inclusion, management, providing insights policymakers develop strategies resilience prosperity region.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects economic growth, nuclear energy consumption, renewable and hydropower consumption on environmental degradation within framework LCC Hypothesis in BRICS countries during period 1993-2022. This aims make a significant contribution literature by simultaneously discussing hydropower, nuclear, load capacity factor addition for first time. Due autocorrelation heteroscedasticity problem, FGLS (Feasible Generalized Least Square) method was used estimated model. According empirical findings, hypothesis not valid sample group countries. It determined that increases factor, whereas decreases factor. No relationship found between These findings provide important information about strategies sustainability.

The ongoing inquiry revolves around whether natural resources heightened geopolitical risk and economic policy uncertainty will act as mitigating or amplifying factors about pollution. In delving into this matter, study investigates resources, risk, on environmental quality in India, given the country's rapid expansion increasing energy demands. Employing quarterly data from 2003/Q2 to 2022/Q4 empirically examines how effectively influence ecological measured by load capacity factor while considering roles of consumption. analysis employs recently developed econometric methods, Quantile-on-Quantile Granger Causality Quantile-based Augmented Dickey-Fuller, marking their novel application context India's sustainability literature unveil causal connections among variables. results indicate that growth, renewable energy, uncertainty, collectively demonstrate forecasting capabilities over Ecological Quality. This study's originality lies employing advanced quantile-based techniques, providing insights asymmetric nonlinear relationships data. Therefore, it is necessary for targeted policies ensure sustainable management growth trajectory.

Newly industrializing economies are ardently striving for rapid development, aspiring to emulate the affluence of Western nations. However, amidst this relentless economic dynamism, world grapples with an escalating climate change crisis. Therefore, it becomes imperative identify factors contributing improving developing nations' environmental quality while concurrently advancing their sustainable development objectives. In regard, present study aims dissect implications renewable energy consumption, technological innovation, and human capital examine "Load Capacity Curve" (LCC) hypothesis in Türkiye through extension STIRPAT model. To achieve objective, research operates a novel econometric methodology, namely "augmented autoregressive distributed lag" (A-ARDL) approach Fourier terms, analyze yearly data from 1980 2019. The empirical findings substantiate validation LCC Türkiye, both short long term. Furthermore, results unveil that consumption significantly bolster ecological welfare over term, whereas innovation exhibits no discernible impact on environment. Additionally, outcomes display population growth positively impacts environment term; nevertheless, detrimental quality.
