Identifying groundwater potential zones in a basin and developing sustainable management plan is becoming more important, especially where surface water scarce. The main aim of the study to prepare maps (GWPMs) considering bivariate statistical models frequency ratio (FR), weight evidence (WoE), multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) model Technique for Order Preference by Similarity an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) hybridized with FR WoE. Two distance measures, Euclidean Manhattan, were used TOPSIS evaluate their effect on GWPMs. research focused Burdur Lake catchment located southwest Türkiye. In total, 74 wells high yields chosen randomly analysis, 52 (70%) training, 22 (30%) testing processes. Sixteen conditioning factors selected. area under receiver operating characteristic (AUROC) true skill statistics (TSS) utilized examine goodness-of-fit prediction accuracy approaches. TOPSIS-WoE-Manhattan WoE gave best AUROC values 0.915 0.944 training processes, respectively. TSS 0.827 0.864 obtained TOPSIS-FR-Euclidean

The indiscriminate use of surface water has heightened the demand for groundwater supplies. Therefore, it is critical to locate potential sources develop alternative resources. Groundwater detection tremendously valuable, as sustainable management. Mersin, in southern Türkiye, expected confront drought shortly due increased population, industry, and global climate change. zones Mersin were determined this study by GIS-based AHP, VIKOR, TOPSIS methods. Fifteen parameters used goal. area was separated into five categories. results show that can be divided “Very High” (4.98%, 5.94%, 7.96%), followed “High” (10.89%, 10.32%, 16.50%), “Moderate” (60.68%, 52.41%, 51.56%), “Low” (21.28%, 28.53%, 20.90%), Low” (2.18%, 2.80%, 3.07%) turn. Data from 60 wells validate ROC-AUC technique utilized this. It seen performance VIKOR model better than AHP (76.5%). findings demonstrated methods are reliable We believe will also help decision makers purpose.

Abstract Champhai, the rice bowl of Mizoram, is known for wet practices. Rapid urbanization and global climate change increased demand groundwater. Champhai city, being a hilly township in northeast India, very difficult to identify potential groundwater water availability. The present study aimed at potentiality zonation town. For these purposes ten (10) factors from topographic, climatic, hydrological other conditions were assigned weightage based on AHP (analytical hierarchy process) technique. aspect was given maximum as working controlling precipitation intensity, vegetation soil type, while LULC (land use land cover) minimum that unscientific human activities reduced infiltration rate. Subsequently, an addition weighted rasters performed zonation. As result, it seen part area covered low zones (31.88%), whereas high zone 14.73% 5.08, respectively. A scientific validation technique, namely AUC (area under curve) value 0.737, denoted good classified zone. Further, single-layer sensitivity analysis highlighted elevation, slope, aspect, number, distance streams rainfall had effective their weightage. map removal TWI (Topographic Wetness Index) influence model. However, environment like output current will work blueprint planning decision making.
