This research investigates the long-term and short-term toxicity of groundwater consumed by population in a specific region, addressing growing concern over pollution—particularly with heavy metals—as significant environmental issue. The study conducts comprehensive physicochemical analysis water quality Bakoya massif, Al Hoceima, examining thirty samples. Parameters such as pH, total dissolved solids (ranging from 559 to 3564 mg/l), Electrical Conductivity 747 4650 µS/cm) were measured. fluoride concentration varied 0.01 mg/l 2.6 mg/l, surpassing maximum allowable level 1.5 for drinking Morocco several leverages GIS statistical hydrochemical distribution, providing insights into mineralization processes affecting quality. findings highlight both natural anthropogenic factors influencing concentration, which remains within safe limits most locations except five wells. Additionally, arsenic silicate concentrations assessed, exceeding limit 0.5 two instances. underscores critical need ongoing monitoring management safeguard public health environment.
