Recent Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) reports have highlighted the inadequacy of environmental sustainability efforts. Thus, it is clear that current efforts towards (SDG 13) and affordable clean energy 7) policies are insufficient a comprehensive policy agenda needed. Existing literature limitedly addresses determinants but relatively ignores impact nuclear research development investments (NCI) green environment on quality. The motivation this study to fill gap propose an overarching structure achieve SDGs. In context, investigates effects environment, economic growth, human capital, NCI comparatively for United States France through Asymmetric Autoregressive Distributed Lag, which considers structural break. Based empirical analysis results, growth trade openness harm sustainability, while positive shocks in improve quality both countries. Negative deteriorate not France. conclusion, provides detailed

Abstract Sustainable energy policies are directly proportional to countries' achievement of the Development Goals (SDGs). Economies that want achieve their 2030 and 2050 targets looking for alternative sources until renewable mature. In this context, study models environmental quality France, which is leader in use nuclear Europe, from a different perspective through technologies. This empirically uses novel Fourier asymmetric autoregressive distributed lag approach. It confirms increases decreases technology have effects on load capacity factor within framework curve (LCC) hypothesis. also provides evidence existence LCC hypothesis offers sustainable France. The French government should allocate funds cleaner energies instead investing Thus, long‐term transition low‐carbon economy can be accelerated short‐term targets. By eliminating energy, severe burden economy, infrastructure created sources. Finally, gain momentum achieving SDGs 7 13 by withdrawing support

This study explores how foreign direct investment (FDI), material footprint, economic growth, and information communication technology (ICT) influence the load capacity factor (LCF) in 37 Sub-Saharan African (SSA) countries. The analysis leverages data spanning 1970 to 2019 employs a range of robust econometric techniques (FM-OLS, D-OLS, DSUR). findings reveal surprising yet significant positive association between footprint LCF. Conversely, FDI, ICT all exhibit negative relationships with Interestingly, causal suggests that these variables–ICT, growth–have two-way on LCF, meaning they both affect are affected by it. These insights highlight complex interplay development, technological advancement shaping SSA’s concludes offering clear policy recommendations for SSA countries aiming optimize their

Abstract Nuclear energy has emerged as one of the essential sources in European Union (EU) region. It does not cause pollution to environment, just like renewable (RE), though it is subject depletion. Therefore, nuclear – a low‐carbon source fundamental maintaining sustainable development through raising national income with less ecological harm. However, there are studies that have investigated influence on economic performance and environmental sustainability. Thus, cover existing gap inform policy making this study investigates research & (necessary for technological innovations) EU countries. The data fourteen consuming countries used analysis period 1990 2015. Important determinants growth capital, RE, human capital financial specified model controlling purposes. To achieve aim, Generalized Least Squares Panels Correlated Standard Errors caters within‐panel correlations used. findings depict energy, development, index rate counterproductive. This informs implication use along innovations order advance growth.

Purpose The main purpose of this study is to analyze the evolution economic and environmental factors in Finland during period 1990–2022, exploring complex interactions between Gross Domestic Product (GDP), nuclear energy production, innovation (measured by patents) electric grid load capacity factor (LCF). Design/methodology/approach To achieve stated purpose, econometric models such as Autoregressive Distributed Lag cointegration tests were employed investigate relationships trends available data for Finland. For conducting proposed analyses, EViews was used approaches, Python language utilized constructing Environmental Kuznets Curve. Findings Following conducted several relevant findings have been observed: 1) a relationship GDP LCF has identified, noting long-term decrease electricity with growth. This result emphasizes importance strategic planning policy maintain stability efficiency amidst growth; 2) shown mixed impact on LCF, both positive negative effects. finding highlights necessity develop policies that encourage progressive integration new technologies minimize efficiency; 3) maximize efficient use system’s capacity, policymakers should aim balance growth responsible management resources. renewable energies continuous investments research development are essential ensuring sustainable transition Originality/value makes significant contribution identifying analyzing detail interdependencies growth, sustainability Finland, providing perspectives public strategies current context global climate change transition.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects economic growth, nuclear energy consumption, renewable and hydropower consumption on environmental degradation within framework LCC Hypothesis in BRICS countries during period 1993-2022. This aims make a significant contribution literature by simultaneously discussing hydropower, nuclear, load capacity factor addition for first time. Due autocorrelation heteroscedasticity problem, FGLS (Feasible Generalized Least Square) method was used estimated model. According empirical findings, hypothesis not valid sample group countries. It determined that increases factor, whereas decreases factor. No relationship found between These findings provide important information about strategies sustainability.
