Governments

non-metro
tourism
destination.

collection
from
publicly
available
online
listings

survey
data

self-nominating
residents,
including
Airbnb
Hosts,
Approved
Accommodation
Providers,
‘Other'
residents.
Six
groups
councils
emerged,
categorized
presence
penetration
–
those
experiencing
negligible
invasive
tourism.
Residents
indicated
their
preferences
nine
intervention
levels
clustered
into
three
central
positions
(self-regulation,
semi-interventionist,
total
government
regulation).
A
generic
model
for
approaches
is
recommended
guide
governments
in
responding
resident
sentiment.

gentrification

Thessaloniki
