In the last years, study of metals recovery and nanoparticle transformation from industrial residues has gained attention because this theme contributed to improving valorization so-called wasted, transforming simple recycling strategies more complex highly technological new approach methodologies, delivering added value raw materials allowing development advanced with unique physicochemical characteristics for multiple functionalities according growing demands.
