This study focuses on a typical chemically contaminated site in the southeastern coastal region of China, investigating natural attenuation mechanisms benzene and o-toluidine groundwater through high-throughput sequencing, physicochemical analyses, stable isotope techniques. The results demonstrate significant heterogeneity spatial distribution degradation processes pollutants within zones (W27, W28, W31). Environmental factors such as HCO3−, SO42−, ORP predominantly influence microbial community structure functional distribution. Stable data reveal that δD δ13C enrichment effects are most pronounced deep layer (W28_40m), indicating active pollutant degradation, while deeper layers W27 W31 is constrained by anaerobic conditions reduced activity. combined analysis hydrogen carbon isotopes elucidates pathways dynamic zones, providing quantitative evidence for scientific support optimizing remediation strategies.

Considerable levels of pollution produced by urbanization and industrial development have established a need for monitoring the presence harmful compounds assessment environmental risks to provide basis timely reaction prevention disastrous consequences. Chemical sensors offer reasonable solution; however, desired properties, such as high sensitivity, selectivity, stability reliability, ease fabrication, cost-effectiveness, are not always easily met. To this end, incorporation zeolites in sensor materials has attracted considerable attention. Such hybrid exhibit excellent performances due unique properties zeolites, which been successfully utilized gas-sensing applications. In review, we discuss recent findings area application materials, focusing on detection volatile organic highlighting role zeolite frameworks proposed mechanisms sensing process. Without insect repellents, would suffer problems, hence, the researchers utilized eco-friendly accessible primary ingredient mosquito air freshening, which is Mimosa pudica. With sulfuric odor compound present in plant it can repel To counteract odor, cucumber melon fragrance was infused, providing refreshing aroma that enhances its usability freshener while maintaining repellent efficacy.
