The extensive use of pesticides has led to the contamination natural resources, sometimes causing significant and irreversible damage environment human health. Even though many is banned, these compounds are still being found in rivers worldwide. In this review, 205 documents have been selected provide an overview pesticide over last 10 years (2014–2024). After were examined, information 47 river systems was organized according types most frequently detected, including organochloride, organophosphorus, pyrethroid compounds. A total 156 classified, showing that 46% contain organochlorine compounds, while 40% exhibit organophosphorus pesticides. Aldrin, hexachlorocyclohexane, endosulfan predominant with concentration values between 0.4 37 × 105 ng L−1. Chlorpyrifos, malathion, diazinon main concentrations 1 11 Comparing standard guidelines, we Ganga River India (90 L−1), Owan Okura Rivers Nigeria (210 9 103 Dong Nai Vietnam (68 L−1) exceed permissible levels aldrin (30 L−1).

Tetracycline (TC) is a drug commonly detected in wastewater. Given this, researchers have been working intensely to create efficient methods eliminate TC from water. Therefore, the work aimed synthesize metal-free catalyst, graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN), remove water through photocatalysis. The one-step methodology via thermal condensation successfully synthesized catalyst. Also, Box-Behnken experimental design was used treatment optimize variables such as pollutant and catalyst concentration pH. Under optimized conditions, there 79% removal 2 h. Furthermore, reused four consecutive cycles, demonstrating remarkable recyclability. produced proved effective promising for aqueous remediation of TC.
