This study aimed to identify changes in the prevalence of childhood (children under five years age) overweight and obesity Peru as a whole at departmental level, before during coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The first UK lockdown greatly impacted the food security status of adults. This study set out to establish if procurement was adapted differently for different income groups and this dietary intakes disproportionately. Adults (n = 515) aged 20–65 years participated in an online survey with 56 completing a 3–4 day diet diary. Food availability significant factor experience insecurity. Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic and recent international crises including the Russia-Ukraine conflict have resulted in significant disruptions along multiple segments of Caribbean’s agri-food system, thus compromising regional food security. These impacts are still ongoing with potential to worsen. aim this study was investigate influence sociodemographic factors on consumers’ knowledge security their attitude, perception towards impact household Caribbean Small Island Developing States. Method A cross-sectional on-line survey conducted between January 1 November 30, 2021. sampled population included consumers from nine countries (Trinidad Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica, Antigua Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts Nevis, Lucia, Vincent Grenadines). Survey data were analyzed using Chi-square, one way analysis variance, univariate logistic regression. Results discussion total 237 participated survey. Consumers generally knowledgeable about had favorable attitudes perceptions Significant associations ( p <0.05) differences obtained for knowledge, attitude among variables assessed. results suggest that there different levels vulnerability insecurity associated pandemic, particularly economically vulnerable households. Policies support disadvantaged households ensure adequate employment opportunities important throughout post recovery.
