This study aims to investigate the performance of corona discharge plasma in removing textile dyes, especially those with large molecular weight and complexity. Reactive Blue 21 was selected as a model contaminant due size exceeding 1000 g/mol, contains heavy metals, nonbiodegradable, is widely used industry for turquoise blue, but rarely studied, its removal using technology. In this study, generated by kV voltage generator connected point-to-plane electrode, adding O2 gas flow. The effects pH, dye concentration, exposure time, catalyst addition were analyzed based on color COD from solution. results showed that time affected efficiencies. For 60 minutes, colour efficiency 73.83 % without catalyst. Fe2+ increased 100 within 50 degradation 82.93 %, energy yield 0.27 g/kWh at minutes. research proved could remove complex weight, indicating potential eliminate all types dyes.

In this work, bismuth sulfide (Bi2S3) thin films were deposited by a chemical bath deposition (CBD) technique (called soft chemistry), while titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles synthesized sol–gel and zinc oxide (ZnO) extracted from alkaline batteries. The resulting then on the Bi2S3 spin coating at 1000 rpm for 60 s each layer to create heterojunctions of Bi2S3/ZnO Bi2S3/TiO2. These materials characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDX). optical contact angle analyses undertaken UV–Vis meter, respectively. calculated band gap values found be between 1.9 eV 2.45 eV. presented an orthorhombic structure, TiO2 anatase ZnO wurtzite hexagonal crystal structure. Furthermore, heterogeneous solar photocatalysis was performed using Bi2S3, Bi2S3/ZnO, Bi2S3/TiO2 film combinations, which resulted in degradation Congo red increasing 8.89% 30.80% after 30 min exposure sunlight.
