Globally, the issue of burnout persists among educators, giving rise to feelings anxiety and depression. The implications on teachers' health are significant, posing a risk both their physical mental well-being. This study examined Senior High School (SHS) teachers in Ghana, with specific focus investigating potential influence gender, educational qualification, teaching experience levels. adopted descriptive cross-sectional survey design, employing census method involve all 520 from chosen public Schools Cape Coast Metropolis. data collection instrument used this was an adapted version Maslach Burnout Inventory-Educators’ Survey. Inferential statistics, specifically, Multivariate Analysis Variance (MANOVA), analyse research hypotheses. revealed that there were significant differences based experience. In light our findings, we recommend prioritise enhancement counseling services. Specifically, suggest organising gender-specific seminars workshops empower male female teachers. These initiatives should promoting coping strategies attuned gender-related nuances reinforcing individual masculine feminine identities.

The aim of this study is to develop and validate Preschool Teachers' Sense Teaching Efficacy Scale (PTSTES) in the Chinese context. A 22-item self-report measure was developed based on Bandura's social cognitive theory, preschool education policies, existing instruments, one-on-one interviews with teachers. This has demonstrated that PTSTES satisfactory psychometric properties a sample 584 Findings indicated valid reliable including five aspects teaching efficacy: preparation, strategy, evaluation, classroom management, preschool-family cooperation. Rasch Rating Model analysis provided evidence for item separation, person separation difficulty PTSTES. reliability calculated by examining internal consistency item-total correlations. Validity test content, structure, relations other variables also evaluated, indicating good validity. contributes early childhood providing researchers practitioners an instrument measuring teachers' sense efficacy.

Background According to the broaden-and-build theory of positive emotions, well-being is a protective factor against emotional labor. However, it unclear whether and how contributes labor for preschool teachers. To investigate influence on labor, this study aimed examine mediating effect career commitment between teachers' moderated by social support. Method This included 363 teachers ( M = 30.17 years, SD 5.94) in Chinese province. All participants completed General Well-Being Schedule, Emotional Labor Strategy, Career Commitment Scale, Social Support Rating Scale. The data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0. Mindfulness is a critical instrument in sustainable tourism development. However, existing literature on mindfulness' role hospitality and sustainability has mostly focused tourists' perspective. In this study, we shift perspective to gain insight into how when residents' mindfulness relates their attitudes behaviors host-tourist relation. Integrating motivated information processing theories, develop test theoretical model examining the effect of resident tourist negative stereotypes via self-transcendence (i.e., attunement with tourists). Residents' ability take proposed enhance sense tourists, further augmenting positive indirect stereotypes, respectively. 2-week interval time-lagged study 429 US residents, found robust evidence supporting our model. Purpose Emotions are an important aspect of work performance but often overlooked, especially amongst preschool teachers whose environment is laden with emotional job demands. The present study aims to examine the mediating role exhaustion in relationship between labour and contextual performance. Design/methodology/approach Using a cross-sectional design, data were obtained from 288 Tema Metropolis Greater Accra region Ghana. study's hypotheses tested using structural equation modelling maximum likelihood estimation AMOS 21.0. This study examines how asymmetric job conditions deplete the psychological resources of ECE workforce in a lower-middle-income country (LMIC). Specifically, this preliminary study, using data from preschool teaching staff, examined influence (a) demands (emotional demand, workload, role conflict and work-family conflict) on burnout exhaustion), (b) offsetting effect occupational (social support autonomy) – emotional exhaustion relations. SEM analyses revealed that high stressors (i.e. demands) were related with levels exhaustion, while social autonomy served as significant buffers positive link. These outcomes serve evidence for re-design management programs by strategically allocating school-level LMICs.
