Climate change presents a substantial impediment for the global community and prompts policymakers worldwide to prioritize environmental goals when defining national development strategies. Prioritizing these is particularly challenging governments of developing economies still relying on fossil fuels, foreign capital, industry contribution GDP. This study examines relationships between carbon dioxide emissions, value added, financial development, electricity generation in 15 Central Eastern European countries from 1995 2021. To achieve this objective, we examined stationarity cointegration employed vector error correction model investigate causalities variables, along with variance decomposition analysis. Our findings suggest that short-run unidirectional exist value-added emissions generation. Long-term causality exists added. The shed light challenges opportunities face transitioning climate neutrality meeting decarbonization targets. Within context, underscore significance crafting customized strategies navigate complex landscape while promoting sustainable industrial, sector development.

This study utilizes the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method to investigate impact of electricity intensity (EINT), renewable energy in generation (ERE), and gross domestic product (GDP) on Malaysia's environmental quality, spanning from 1985 2020.The research employs carbon emissions (CO 2 emissions) ecological footprint (EF) as proxies for degradation. The results indicate a signi cant these variables both CO EF over long run.Notably, also identi es an inverted U-shaped relationship cases EF) between GDP degradation, thereby validating existence Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis. The ndings imply that while is associated with increased emissions, use (RE) sources may contribute emission reduction. But show reversal signs EF.By adopting fully modi ed ordinary least square (FMOLS) method, showed same results, thus, justifying cointegrating studied variables.Drawing outcomes, proposes policy recommendations foster sustainability economic growth, emphasizing need strategic interventions mix policies.

Policy strategies to foster climate-change resilient ecosystems require broad-based identification of the mechanisms underlying nexus. Prior investigations, maybe, inadvertently left so many factors unverified. Failing verify, specifically, how climate change is influenced by public-funded research and development (R&D) on energy efficiencies, renewables, nuclear energy, power storage technologies concealed vital policy insights. We have analyzed a panel series aforementioned stretching from 1985 2021 in context G10 countries. Several innovative techniques robust cross-national exigencies were implemented. This includes two recently introduced third-generation unit-root procedures, Banerjee Carrion-i-Silvestre cointegration process, fully-generalized least square, panel-corrected standard error, Driscoll-Kray errors, dynamic common correlated effects estimator. Long-run elasticities informed that total R&D expenditure green-technologies more effective mitigating energy-induced emissions than overall surface temperature. energies performed better minifying both metrics storage. Fossil fuel remained inimical environmental sustainability. Energy-tax promoted quality significantly reducing It commendable invest energy-enhancing but other direct bearing deserve consideration.

Since the reform and opening-up, China has developed into world’s number one manufacturing country. Meanwhile, China’s environmental protection efforts continue to strengthen. So, will changes in intensity of regulatory policies have an impact on technological development level international competitiveness high-tech industries? In response this issue, we reviewed relevant research field regulation export technology complexity, then selected appropriate indicators quantify complexity industries different regions China. Furthermore, entropy method was used calculate regulations subsequent empirical analysis, based indicator data from 30 provinces China, excluding Tibet, 2006 2021, quantitatively analyzed complex industries. The degree influence robustness benchmark regression results proved through endogeneity testing testing. main conclusions are as follows: (1) industry exports shown upward trend. (2) analysis show that increase a significant “U-shaped” (3) regional differences. However, does not obvious (4) Environmental affect foreign direct investment, human capital, innovative R D which cause indirect effects. Based those conclusions, paper suggested corresponding policy measures future directions.
