This study aims to review existing literature impacts of climate, sustainability irrigation water in West Africa. The future Africa will be driven by strong external factors, such as rapid population growth, climate change, change. annual average temperature is between 25.9 34°C. Rising temperatures affected all sectors, including resources, increased demand, agricultural production. Reduction precipitation reduce river flows increase evaporation due drier atmosphere, thereby reducing amount available reservoirs for irrigation. current demand freshwater purposes expected triple 2050. Establishing ecological management zones based on the supply-demand relationship of ecosystem services (ESs) is essential for fostering sustainable development within social-ecological systems and improving human well-being. In this study, spatial pattern between supply demand in five ESs (grain production (GP), carbon sequestration (CS), soil conservation (SC), water (WC), habitat quality (HQ)) analyzed using ratio (ESDR) method, autocorrelation coupled coordination degree model. Zoning performed according to differences their combinations, differential zoning policies are proposed. The following results were obtained: (1) terms ESDR, except a slight increase GP surplus from 2010 2020, there decline other four ESs. (2) CS, WC, HQ dominated by cluster types LH HL. SC HH LL. average value coupling (CCD) comprehensive show types: moderate disharmony, near basic coordination, coordination. (3) Based multiple heterogeneity demand, differentiated strategies proposed at grid scale. Overall, study discover mismatch mountainous urban areas. This contribution enhances discourse surrounding theory advances research systems. Furthermore, it offers valuable insights formulation tailored settings.

Water yield (WY) service is the cornerstone of ecosystem functionality. Predicting and assessing impact land use/land cover (LULC) changes on WY imperative for a nation’s food security, regional economic development, ecological environmental protection. This study aimed to evaluate water in Henan Province, China, using high-resolution (30 m) remote sensing use monitoring data from four years: 1990, 2000, 2010, 2020. It also utilized PLUS model predict characteristics LULC evolution future trends under different development scenarios (for 2030 2050). The study’s results indicated following: (1) From 1990 2020, Province’s first increased then decreased, ranging 398.56 × 108 m3 482.95 m3. southern southeastern parts Province were high-value areas, while most its other regions deemed low-value areas. (2) types ranked terms their capacity, strongest weakest, as follows: unused land, cultivated grassland, construction woodland, water. (3) abovementioned ranked, highest lowest, based Henan’s total (in 2050) each them: high-quality scenario (HDS), business-as-usual (BAU), protection (CPS), (ES). contributes advancement services research. Its can provide scientific support resource management, sustainable comprehensive land-use planning Province.

Mountains support many kinds of ecosystem services (ESs) for human beings, emphasizing the need to understand characteristics and drivers ES changes in mountainous regions. In this study, Nanling, most significant mountains southern China, was selected as a case study. Utilizing GlobeLand30 dataset, we employed InVEST, Geodetector MGWR identify spatio-temporal changes, investigate trade-offs synergies between ESs, examine relationship ESs landscape ecological risk index (LERI) provide new perspective management vulnerable mountain The results showed that carbon storage (CS) habitat quality (HQ) slightly decreased, while water yield (WY) increased slightly. Soil conservation (SC) significantly but total (TES) increased. All bundles demonstrated synergistic relationship, exhibited decreasing trend. study area were mainly affected by climate factors, anthropogenic factors also had impact on ESs. LERI negative correlation with provision high explanatory power especially CS, HQ TES, suggesting areas more stable patterns are likely harbor greater levels insights into analysis change areas, providing practical implications introducing driver change.

Water conservation (WC) is a vital ecosystem service (ES) that plays an essential role in the sustainable management of water resources and ensures ecological security. This research examines WC capacity Citarum watershed West Java Province, Indonesia, from 2010 to 2020. The specific objectives this are as follows: (1) assess 10-year temporal spatial variations using Integrated Valuation Ecosystem Services Tradeoffs (InVEST) topographic index model; (2) analyze interchange between its influencing factors through Spatial Elastic Coefficient Trajectory Model (SECTM); (3) determine driving (DFs) affecting by applying Multiscale Geographically Weighted Regression (MGWR). Key findings study reveal significant trends 2020: average decreased 513.96 mm/ha 453.64 (11.74%), indicating concerning decline ES capacity. also noted regions implementing comprehensive regulations dominated area, covering approximately 72.70% total area (502,295 hectares). illustrates implementation rules crucial WC. Lastly, MGWR analysis found positively correlated with topography, climate, vegetation while negatively correlating socioeconomic factors. indicates levels generally lower areas higher human activity economic growth, highlighting impact anthropogenic pressures on natural resources. framework helps stakeholders plan ensure development it provides valuable insights into interactions

Abstract Using polyaspartic acid (PAsp) and bentonite (BT) as the main raw materials, a new type of degradable soil water retaining agent (PAsp-AA/BT) was synthesized by microwave radiation. The optimum synthesis conditions comprehensive properties PAsp-AA/BT were discussed structure surface characteristics PAspsp-AA/BT characterized FTIR, SEM, XRD TGA in paper. results showed that follows: dosages (PAsp), (BT), initiator potassium persulfate, crosslinking N , ′-methylene bisacrylamide 5, 3, 0.3, 0.03%, respectively, neutralization degree acrylic 75%, power 490W. Under this condition, absorption ratio deionized 0.9% NaCl solution 953 164 g/g, respectively. had high rate, good retention repeated absorption, degradation rate within 30 days reached 32.75%, with effect. analysis FT-IR, that: rough obvious pore structure, which conducive to diffusion molecules; acid, polymerized; cross-linking formed between acid; product PASP-AA/BT thermal stability. This study provides agent, is helpful for better development research.
