Heavy and transition metal (HTM) ions have significant harmful effects on the physical environment play crucial roles in biological systems; hence, it is to accurately identify quantify any trace pollution. Molecular sensors which are based organic molecules employed as optical probes a role sensing detecting toxic water, food, air, environments. When appropriate combinations of conduction selective recognition combined, fluorescent colorimetric chemosensors appealing instruments that enable selective, sensitive, affordable, portable, real-time investigation possible presence heavy ions. This feature article aims provide readers with more thorough understanding different methods synthesis how they work.
