This research examined the impact of Covid-19 pandemic on financial stress households and strategies adopted by low-income to deal with such stress. A survey 577 respondents was carried out using a simple random sampling technique acquire data. Binary logit model probit were applied achieve objectives. Findings demonstrate that during people had escalated respondents' age, income volatility, family efficiency, medication cost, creditors’ pressure all have substantial influences gender based analysis indicate male experienced more compared female respondents. Results robustness check confirm main findings study. study also discovered several strategies, mostly changing eating habits, taking loans selling personal properties caused pandemic. Based findings, this offers policy recommendations may alleviate reducing constraints extreme poor individuals.
