Against the backdrop of frequent extreme climates and international consensus on green low-carbon development, Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) has progressively drawn increasing attention. Integrating perspectives stakeholder theory signaling theory, this study employed Malmquist-Luenberger productivity index, fixed-effects regression model, mediating effect propensity matching score difference-in-differences a two-stage least squares method. Using research sample Chinese A-share listed companies between 2011 2021, mechanisms linking ESG ratings each component (the individual scores E, S, G) with innovation total factor (GTFP) enterprises were investigated. This conducted heterogeneity analysis integrating regional, industry, enterprise dimensions, fully considered potential endogeneity issues, multiple robustness tests by exploring alternative approaches, replacing measures indicators, reducing sample. The results demonstrated that higher significantly improved GTFP enterprises. improvement was achieved through stakeholders mechanisms, more prominent in economically underdeveloped regions, patent-intensive industries, industries lower environmental risk. In addition, impact varied among different property rights. findings elucidate pathways which soft regulation influences micro-level corporate decision-making, making significant contributions to literature. Cross-region and cross-industry cooperation has become a key driver of industrial transformation. Advanced manufacturing is boosting the modern service industry fostering innovation development, while promoting advanced stimulating market demand. The convergence services (CAMMS) environmental in China’s economy. This study explores impact CAMMS on green efficiency its spatial correlations. This study presents an analysis of the relationship between servitization process and energy sustainability in years 2015–2020. The research refers to 164 selected countries, also divided into two regimes: developed developing. transformation manufacturing process, as a result, economy’s structure, towards servitization, is observed most countries worldwide. positive influence production by individual manufacturers on widely known.
