Background/Objectives: Cardiac arrhythmias impact quality of life (QoL) and are often linked to psychological distress. This study examines the relationship between QoL, depression, using AI-assisted analysis enhance patient management. Methods: A total 145 patients with were assessed an SF-36 health survey a PHQ-9 questionnaire (depression). Statistical analyses included regression, clustering, AI-based models such as K-means logistic regression identify risk factors subgroups. Results: Patients comorbidities had lower QoL higher depression scores. scores negatively correlated mental components. clustering identified distinct subgroups, older individuals those longer disease duration exhibiting lowest QoL. Logistic predicted 93% accuracy, XGBoost achieved AUC 0.97. Conclusions: plays key role in arrhythmia management, significantly influencing outcomes. AI-driven predictive offer personalized interventions, improving early detection treatment. Future research should integrate wearable technology monitoring optimize care.

Background: Angioedema (AE) is a localized, non-pitting swelling affecting subcutaneous and/or submucosal tissues. Despite varying underlying mechanisms, AE significantly impacts patients' quality of life (QoL), which closely linked to disease activity and control. Objectives: This study aimed translate linguistically validate the angioedema score (AAS), control test (AECT), (AE-QoL) questionnaires into Latvian, use these validated tools assess activity, control, within population. Methods: PROMs, including AECT, AAS, AE-QoL, underwent standardized linguistic validation process. Patients with hereditary (HAE), mast cell-mediated (AE-MC), unknown origin (AE-UNK) were recruited from two separate studies conducted at Riga Stradiņš University. Results: We enrolled 41 participants (90.2% women) mean age 46.3 years. AE-MC was most common (63.4%), followed by HAE (19.5%) AE-UNK (17.1%). The AAS 15.8, no significant differences regarding type, gender, or age. AECT 8.29, revealing gender (women: 7, men: 13.5). AE-QoL total 45.5, in domains. Strong correlations found between scores both highlighting impact on QoL. Conclusions: Latvian adaptation effectively assesses disease-related Our reveals poor underscoring need for tailored interventions regular PROM evaluations, version questionnaire identifying five distinct domains compared four original version.
