Heavy metals like lead, mercury, cadmium, and arsenic are environmental pollutants that accumulate in ecosystems pose significant health risks to humans wildlife, primarily through food chain contamination where plants absorb heavy metals, affecting their growth threatening consumer health. Cognitive cardiovascular functions particularly affected by exposure even at low concentrations the induction of oxidative stress. Various analytical techniques used measuring different biological samples. The atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) offers cost, simplicity, portability but lacks sensitivity for certain metals. Although more sensitive, high cost inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) may limit laboratory accessibility. with emission (ICP-AES) is known its broad dynamic linear range ability identify minute variations concentration. Atomic fluorescence (AFS) considered a powerful tool quantifying due sensitivity, detection limits, wide range. current article reviews metal pollution's impact on spectrometric these contaminants. This help efforts international, regional policies towards preventing this hazard problem.

Heavy metals are commonly present in polluted soil mining areas. In this study, we investigated 10 sites of farmland the heavy metal tailing dam collapse area (TDCA) with dominant phyla Acidobacteriota, Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes, and Planctomycetes. The is a composite contamination multiple metals, Cd, Pb Zn being most severely contaminated, levels Hg Cu exceeding screening values at some sites. Shannon, Chao1 ACE indices revealed high microbial diversity but low relative abundance microorganisms TDCA1 TDCA3 results redundancy analysis (RDA) showed that (Max = 4.31 mg/kg) 100 were important factors affecting community TDCA compared to other metals. Correlation communities RB41 (Acidobacteria) was more resistant concentrations Pb, pollution. genera UTCFX1 (Chloroflxi) norank_TRA3-20 had strong tolerance Hg. significantly negatively correlated norank_WD2101_soil_group (P < 0.05). Therefore these can be used as indicators for monitoring potential contamination. predict changes ecosystem maintain its ecological balance health.

Humans are continuously exposed to various heavy metals including copper, iron, cadmium, and arsenic, which were specifically selected for the current analysis because they among most frequently encountered environmental mankind industrial pollutants potentially causing human health hazards liver injury. So far, these issues poorly assessed remained a matter of debate, also due inconsistent results. The aim actual report is thoroughly analyze positive as well negative effects four on health. Copper iron correctly viewed pollutant elements essential maintaining part important enzymes metabolic pathways. Healthy individuals prepared through genetically based mechanisms maintain cellular copper homeostasis, thereby circumventing or reducing hazardous organ injury excessive amounts entering body. In few humans with gene aberration, however, may develop excessively accumulated can lead Wilson disease substantial deposition hemochromatosis. At molecular level, toxicities some traced back Haber Weiss Fenton reactions involving reactive oxygen species formed in course oxidative stress. On other hand, homeostasis cadmium arsenic cannot be provided, their life-long organs. Consequently, represent leading higher disability-adjusted life years increased mortality rates cancer non-cancer diseases. For unknown reasons, rarely observed. sum, good except those hemochromatosis at risk radical formation, while lack any beneficial but rather focus disability potential cancer. Primary efforts should emission metals.

Soil toxicity is a major environmental issue that leads to numerous harmful effects on plants and human beings. Every year huge amount of Pb dumped into the environment either from natural sources or anthropogenically. Being heavy metal it highly toxic non-biodegradable but remains in for long time. It considered neurotoxic exerts living In present review article, investigators have emphasized side plants. Further, authors focused various environment. Investigators responses including molecular, biochemical, morphological levels Pb. Further emphasis was given effect elevated microbial population rhizospheres. remediation strategies removal soil water sources.

The contamination of soil and water with high levels heavy metals (HMs) has emerged as a significant obstacle to agricultural productivity overall crop quality. Certain HMs, although serving essential micronutrients, are required in smaller quantities for plant growth. However, when present higher concentrations, they become very toxic. Several studies have shown that balance out the harmful effects complex systems needed at molecular, physiological, biochemical, cellular, tissue, whole levels. This could lead more crops being grown. Our review focused on HMs' resources, occurrences, implications. will also look how plants react HMs affect seed performance well benefits provide plants. Furthermore, examines transport genes their metabolic responses HMs. We examined obstacles potential management strategies.
