Purpose This study aims to analyze public discourse on decentralized finance (DeFi) and central bank digital currencies (CBDC) using advanced natural language processing (NLP) techniques uncover key insights that can guide financial policy innovation. research seeks fill the gap in existing literature by applying state-of-the-art NLP models like BERT RoBERTa understand evolving online around DeFi CBDC. Design/methodology/approach uses a multilabel classification alongside BERTopic for topic modeling. Data is collected from social media platforms, including Twitter LinkedIn, as well relevant documents, sentiment discourse. Model performance evaluated based accuracy, precision, recall F1-scores. Findings outperforms accuracy precision across all metrics, making it more effective categorizing identifies five topics frequently discussed, such inclusion, competition growth DeFi, with important implications policymakers.
