The stability of ecosystems in high mountain canyon areas is poor, and the interaction between humans land complex, making these more vulnerable to destruction. Quantitatively assessing ecosystem service value (ESV) revealing its spatiotemporal evolution patterns driving factors play a crucial role construction regional ecological barriers assurance security. This study focuses on Upper Minjiang River as research area, using InVEST model Equivalent Factor Method estimate ESV. combination aims address inadequacy reflecting variability ESV across different regions, sensitivity data changes that results insufficient accuracy assessments. By harnessing spatial au-tocorrelation geodetector method, we unravel characteristics show that: (1) From 2000 2020, ESVs estimated by two estimations increased 31.28% 22.47%, respectively, both indicating eco-environment quality upper has been continuously improved. Understanding the changes in land use and cover (LULC) national parks their corresponding ecosystem service value (ESV) shifts is crucial for shaping future management policies directions. However, comprehensive analyses this research area that integrate tourism development perspectives are lacking. Therefore, interdisciplinary study considers Akan-Mashu National Park Japan as a case study. Using remote sensing data, LULC maps past 10 years were generated using Google Earth Engine. Land use and land cover (LULC) change represents a critical environmental challenge that significantly impacts the Earth’s systems ecosystem services leads to degradation economic loss. The main objective of this study was investigate trend LULC change, drivers, its on in Burayu sub-city, Shager City, Ethiopia. used satellite images from four time periods, Landsat Series sensors’ 4, 5, 8, at 10-year intervals understand spatial temporal dynamics by using integration GIS RS techniques under supervised classification system. Respondent interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), field observations were employed. In addition, address drivers changes area, multifaceted method followed observations. A modified benefit transfer evaluate service value (ESV) response change. revealed population growth, urbanization, agricultural expansion, infrastructure development driving composition area over past 30 years. Croplands have decreased 51.2% 30.3%, forest has dropped 32.9% 15%, grassland fallen 12.7% 6.1%. On other hand, settlement areas expanded 2.5% 46.9%, total natural capital $368.7million $227.0 million per year. Therefore, it is possible conclude significant declining values occurred area. local government should develop comprehensive plan, balance urban with preservation, strengthen law enforcement, increase public awareness minimize urbanization services.

Climate variability is one of the major factors affecting supply ecosystem services and well-being people who rely on them. Despite substantial effects climate goods services, empirical researches these are generally lacking. Thus, this study examines spatiotemporal impacts selected in Maze National Park its surroundings, southwestern Ethiopia. We conducted trend analysis by using Mann-Kendall (MK) test, Sen's slope estimator, innovative (ITA). Relationships among variables were evaluated Pearson's correlation coefficient (r), while partial was used to evaluate relationship key potential evapotranspiration (PET). The MK tests show a decreasing for both mean annual main rainy season rainfall, with (β) = -0.721 β -0.1.23, respectively. Urban parks provide essential ecosystem services (ESs) that enhance human wellbeing. However, discrepancies often arise between objective assessments of these and stakeholders’ subjective perceptions. This study addresses a research gap concerning the synergies tradeoffs evaluations perceptions key across various spatial scales. We investigated six in Century Park, Shanghai, seven buffer radii (8–100 m). Objective data were obtained from park view images (PVIs) analysis, while gathered through scoring survey 33 stakeholders. The finding is radius 35 m offers optimal synergy for most ESs, particularly pollution mediation, temperature regulation, cultural services. Professionals showed stronger alignment regulatory like mediation residents exhibited higher net primary production (NPP) beyond 75 radius. Notably, displayed nuanced differences, with professionals preferring simpler landscapes demonstrating varied aesthetic preferences. These findings emphasize importance integrating urban green space planning governance. By incorporating diverse stakeholders identifying zones, planners designers can effectively balance ESs experiences. approach ultimately fosters more sustainable wellbeing-centered environments.
