The urgency of global climate change and environmental degradation has become increasingly apparent, green finance, as a pioneering financial tool, is providing critical support to unlock regional patterns. Based on the data China’s prefecture level from 2010 2021, this study examines causal relationship mechanism finance (GF) urban total factor productivity (GTFP) using spatial Durbin model. results show following: (1) Green can not only improve local GTFP, but also spillover effect, it still valid after robustness test, which means that development GF significantly promote transformation. (2) effect are more obvious in coastal developed areas. (3) After deconstructing transformation, paper finds improving energy utilization efficiency, mitigating capital mismatch degree, enhancing new quality important impact channels for enhance GTFP. These conclusions provide theoretical reference help with construction high-quality “Double Cycle” pattern, low-carbon This application value provides experience other developing countries seek transformation perspective practice.

In the era of digitalization, digital environmental governance has gradually emerged as a new driving force for promoting economic green transformation. Taking China’s 30 provinces research sample, on basis theoretical analysis, this paper explores influence, mechanism, and threshold effects transformation by using panel fixed model, two-step mechanism test respectively. The spatial Durbin model is further employed to discuss spillover governance’s influence. results indicate that following: (1) Digital can effectively enhance transformation, with pronounced impact observed in central western regions high-pollution areas. (2) Mechanism analysis reveals intermediary pathway achieving through lies strengthening regulation intensity. Meanwhile, enabling effect constrained development level regional economy, showing an “increasing marginal utility” characteristic along economy. (3) influence shows effect, which not only enhances local but also significantly contributes surrounding Therefore, it necessary expedite integrated application technology field governance, prioritize tailored strategies based conditions, reinforce supportive role played economy multiple avenues harness benefits opportunity presented governance.
