Objective: This research aims, through a systematic literature review (SLR), to evaluate the risk management of third-party logistics providers (3PLs) in supply chains. The main objective is identify major risks from outsourcing, as well key activities performed by and primary sectors where outsourcing occurs what gaps opportunities Literature. Methods: SLR used Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method answer three questions: (1) Which are concerning chain 3PL operations? (2) What presented literature? (3) And methods identifying assessing risk? Results conclusion: authors identified limited body addressing labor-related vulnerabilities workforce legal reputational arising absence compliance. Additionally, there low level identification discussion regarding social (1). dimensions risks, vulnerabilities, drivers were financial, quality, technological systems capacity, flexibility, crisis capabilities (2). These primarily semi-structured interviews questionnaires being qualitatively assessed using multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) (3). Research implications: only reviewed international journal papers (published English language), indexed Scopus database. focuses on different multiple operational segments, ensuring that many findings specific operations or segments. Originality/Value: gap labor raises concerns countries with high vulnerability. For future this paper suggested exploring vulnerability collaboration organizations. most frequently cited common across segments activities, providing valuable insights quickly mitigating these that, due diverse characteristics field, effective drivers.
