Abstract Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) have gained significant attention for their exceptional magnetic properties and nano-level impact, making them highly effective tools detecting environmental pollutants. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of recent advancements in utilizing MNPs identifying organic inorganic contaminants wastewater. Key aspects discussed include the intrinsic MNPs, strategies modification, production techniques. Emphasis is placed on potential applications water pollution detection, highlighting ability to enhance contaminant concentration separation efficiency compared conventional methods.
