Patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) are at an increased risk for emotional issues, depression being the most prevalent psychological concern, significantly impacting their quality of life. This study aimed to explore mediating effect resilience on relationship between and life in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients.

Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) and renal failure remain critical global health challenges, with vascular access complications posing significant obstacles in hemodialysis management. Methods: This study investigates the early late associated procedures a cohort of 1334 patients from Timiș County Emergency Clinical Hospital. Patients were categorized into complications, occurring within 30 days postoperatively, developing beyond this period. Demographic data, comorbidities, lifestyle factors, including age, gender, body mass index (BMI), smoking status, hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular (CVD), recorded analyzed. Early included thrombosis, hemorrhage, edema, non-maturation, while involved aneurysmal dilation, venous infections. Results: Hemorrhage (32.3%) thrombosis (30.8%) most prevalent influenced significantly by diabetes hypertension. Non-maturation showed strong association (odds ratio: 1.70). For was frequent, hypertensive exhibiting increased risk (relative risk: 1.18). BMI factor both complications. Risk analysis using odds ratios relative risks revealed distinct patterns complication based on comorbidities status. Logistic regression modeling for demonstrated moderate predictive accuracy (AUC: 0.64). Conclusions: These findings suggest that clinical interventions, such as stricter perioperative glycemic blood pressure control, personalized surgical strategies high or could reduce incidence improve outcomes high-risk population.
