Anabasis articulata (Chenopodiaceae), commonly called Ajrem, is a medicinal plant of Algerian flora arid and semi-arid regions, extensively used in complementary medicine to treat diabetes, eczema, fever, kidney diseases. The current investigation was intended evaluate the anti-inflammatory potential A. ethanolic extract (EEAA) its fractions that were separated using decreasing polarity solvents (hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol) obtain an (EEAA), chloroform (ChFA), acetate (EAFA), n-butanol (nBFA), aqueous (AqFA). These analyzed LC-MS-MS, whereas polyphenols, flavonoids, tannins evaluated colorimetric methods. For acute toxicity study, one oral dose 2 5 g/kg administered mice. vitro properties determined by egg albumin denaturation test, vivo effect assessed carrageenan, croton oil, xylene-induced edema tests. these natural compounds silico via molecular docking simulations applying cyclooxygenase COX2 inhibitory impact. Seven metabolites identified: anthrone, beta-carotene, butylated hydroxyanisole, butylatedhydroxytoluene, gallic acid, myricetin, rutin. ChFA contained greatest quantity polyphenols flavonoids (497.98±0.377 mg GAE/g 79.89±0.789 QE/g). While nBFA showed highest amount total (162.89±2.103 TAE/g). evaluation revealed all had potent effect. No death, no toxicological symptoms, appreciable body weight changes between treated control groups observed. Oral administration EEAA (200 mg/kg) significantly reduced induced xylene. beta carotene, rutin exhibited most promising inhibition against COX2. Significant effects demonstrated vitro, vivo, silico. ariculata can be regarded as non-toxic. findings are consistent with plant’s traditional applications, which include therapy illnesses.

This study investigated the formation of soy protein isolate hydrolysate–yeast cell extract (SPIH-YCE) conjugates through a humid–dry heating process and their impact on bioactivity. The incubation SPIH-YCE samples at 60 °C ~75% humidity for varying durations (0, 5, 10, 15, 20 days) resulted in significant decrease reducing sugars free amino acids, while degree glycation increased by approximately 65.72% after 10 days. SDS-PAGE analysis size exclusion chromatography revealed presence peptides glycoprotein molecules, with an increase distribution larger peptide chains. conjugated (10 exhibited highest antioxidant capacity compared to other different times. A comparative between (day 0) days showed significantly higher anti-inflammatory ACE inhibitory activities subjected process. suggests that could serve as alternative substance potential provide health benefits mitigating or preventing non-communicable diseases (NCDs). research highlights importance Maillard reaction enhancing bioactivity offers insights into alterations chemical structure these conjugates.

Furthermore, acetylcholinesterase (AChE) butyrylcholinesterase (BuChE) inhibitory activities two most potent investigated, phytochemicals identified ethyl acetate fraction, which had best cholinesterase effects subjected to chemoinformatics studies. The its fraction high amounts TPC TFC. exerted DPPH, NO, TBARS, FRAP inhibition with IC50 values 5.06, 6.58, 2.12, 88.73 µg/mL, respectively. Interestingly, n-hexane inhibited AChE (IC5016.83 11.67 µg/mL) BuChE (IC50 7.54 and5.21 enzymatic more than standard inhibitor, rivastigmine 11.99 11.40 µg/mL values, A 18 compounds identified, kaempferol was component, 40.01 µg/g (30%). More strikingly, top-scoring (catechin, kaempferol) exhibited good binding affinity, interacted favorably amino acids residues around within active sites also obeyed drug-likeness rules, did not show tendency towards toxicity when placed side by is immunogenic. Abstract Five Australian seaweed species, Phyllosphora comosa , Ecklonia radiata Durvillaea potatorum Sargassum fallax and Cystophora siliquosa thrive along the country's shorelines. Some of these seaweeds have recognized health benefits but not been fully investigated in terms their bioactive components mechanisms action. We employed ultrasonication with 70% methanol to extract phenolic compounds from a range bioactivities for extracts, including anti‐inflammatory activity exploring urease inhibition, nitric oxide scavenging activity, protein denaturation protease inhibition. Anti‐diabetic activities were using α‐amylase α‐glucosidase inhibition assays. Anti‐proliferative anti‐mitotic evaluated yeast‐cell green‐gram models, respectively. Our findings showed that C. inhibited oxide, urease, activities, S. P. E. exhibiting substantial denaturation. displayed inhibitory effects on both α‐glucosidase, whereas targeted only enzyme, indicating different anti‐diabetic activity. In assays, exhibited low cell viability significant anti‐proliferative effect, particularly within 24 h, while demonstrated notable at 48 h. LC‐ESI‐QTOF‐MS/MS investigation identified compounds, 19 acids, 20 flavonoids, 9 other polyphenols. The presence extracts correlated observed biological activities. These results support potential link this phenolics.

Kinkéliba (Combretum micranthum, Seh-Haw in Wolof) is a popular bush tea West African countries. Although the kinkéliba plant’s leaves have been widely consumed for its nutritional and medicinal properties, benefits on skin health potential practically untouched. In human epidermal primary keratinocytes, vitexin isovitexin-rich extract treatment significantly (p < 0.001) enhanced up to 39.6% of cell survival rate decreased by UV radiation irritation. The leaf extracts also reduced production UV-induced pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6 IL-8 57.6% 42.5%, respectively 0.001), which cause redness barrier dysfunction, as well wrinkles collagen degradation. anti-inflammation efficacy might involve significant inhibition levels cellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) (−70.8%, p nitrotyrosine (−56.9%, 0.05). Further topical applications gel were found reduce sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)-induced inflammation: at D7, trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) (a* value) both 59.81% 22.4% compared with D0. vitro vivo data support new application an effective active ingredient inflammation, subsequent dysfunction inflammaging.
