ABSTRACT Solar stills are highly effective tools that assist the transformation of saline brine water into potable freshwater, thereby focusing on critical issues related to scarcity and quality. The elaborate heat transfer process occurs inside these is fundamentally driven by solar irradiance, which operates as a renewable energy source, allowing efficient harnessing thermal from sun. To meaningfully improve overall productivity efficiency still devices, pioneering enhancement in evaporative mechanism applied through strategic incorporation paraffin wax positioned beneath surface basin, functions storage medium. In present work, an analytical solution done study performance hemispherical with addition phase change material (PCM), aid COMSOL Multiphysics 6.2 software. Five values PCM masses were used: 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 kg. Results show increase both efficiency. case (1 kg) shows better 123% for productivity. was shown working hours after sunset.
