Background Fungal skin diseases represent pervasive global health concerns, predominantly arising from dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds. Objective This study aimed to estimate the disease burden associated with fungal in 2021. Additionally, it sought analyze trends 1990 2021 forecast future patterns. Methods observational first utilized data Global Burden of Disease (GBD) database covering years We specifically used GBD evaluate incidence, prevalence, disability-adjusted life (DALYs), disaggregated by age, gender, socio-demographic index (SDI), regions. Linear regression models were then employed identify temporal trends, estimating annual percentage change. Cluster analysis examined disparities across 45 To burden, we applied age-period-cohort model autoregressive integrated moving average model. Conclusion In 2021, there approximately 1.73 billion cases diseases. Males had higher age-standardized rates for DALYs compared females. Age-specific analyses showed that although younger groups experienced highest incidence rates, ASRs increased especially among older populations. Regionally, low middle SDI areas faced greatest Asia having Oceania lowest. Projections suggest significant increases DALYs, notably middle- low-income These results highlight meaningful spatiotemporal emphasize need strategic allocation resources mitigate these challenges reduce growing various
