Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the long-term clinical results two different implant–abutment connection types (screw-retained/Morse locking taper), marginal bone loss, and complications in prosthetic restorations. Materials Methods: In 2017–2018, 579 implants 242 implant-supported restorations applied 137 patients were included study. Patients recalled every six months, evaluations accomplished, recorded. When examining distribution by type, it determined that 38 (15.70%) single crowns, 136 (56.19%) fixed partial cement-retained bridge restorations, 53 (21.90%) screw-retained 15 (6.19%) overdenture prostheses. Findings: Overall, eighteen (21.68%) retention losses, nineteen (22.89%) instances screw loosening, twenty-one (25.30%) veneer ceramic fractures, three (3.61%) acrylic base fourteen (16.87%) cases peri-implantitis, eight (9.64%) implant losses. Conclusions: Differences complication rates observed between with designs. While no significant differences found regarding annual mesial distal loss for conical connections, a difference detected those connections. both groups, progressed gradually over follow-up period.

Background/Objectives: The oral health disorder periodontal disease is widespread around the world and has a public dimension. This study aimed to perform systematic review an appraised analysis that looks at both prevalence diversity of risk factors associated with in Saudi Arabia. It places particular focus on subgroup analyses pooled estimates identify certain populations could be described as high risk. Methods: Several databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, were used conduct present review. search was designed relevant studies published from 1980 2023. Both quantitative qualitative included. Subgroup meta-analyses performed using random-effects model calculate rates. evaluated three criteria focused bias. Finally, authors created narrative synthesis findings for ease understanding. Results: overall 46.2% (95% CI: 40.5-51.8), heterogeneity (I2 = 85%). identified obese adults having highest this condition (71.3%), individuals diagnosed diabetes also displayed significantly (52.1%). Adolescents aged 15-19 years had age-specific 8.6%, which lower than other age groups analyzed. Poor hygiene, tobacco use, diabetes, obesity have been recognized disease. Conclusions: substantial burden Arabia, especially among high-risk groups, such diabetic adults, cannot overstated. Our initiatives need these individuals, who are likely periodontally systemically compromised, provide lifestyle modification counseling hygiene education them, well routinize their dental care way minimizes chances becoming compromised.

Periodontal diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis, are chronic inflammatory conditions that compromise the supporting structures of teeth, often leading to tooth loss contributing systemic comorbidities. Increasing evidence underscores critical role modifiable lifestyle factors, particularly diet physical activity, in influencing periodontal health. This narrative review critically evaluates current body literature regarding impact dietary constituents activity on periodontium, with a focus molecular mechanisms, key biomarkers, clinical implications. It aims provide deeper understanding complex interactions between nutrition, exercise, health potential implications for management preventive strategies.
