The use of renewable rosin as a raw material to prepare rosin-based polymers with good properties had aroused great interest. This work used and acid deep eutectic solvent [ZnCl2][FA]3 (synthesized by zinc chloride (ZnCl2) formic (FA)) catalyst for high conversion polymerized rosin. possessed suitable strength (457 mV), both Brønsted site Lewis site, in which the could effectively promote isomerization polymerization rosin, so softening point (148.40 °C) low value (125.23 mg KOH/g) was obtained under following conditions: = 15 g, mDES:mrosin 30%, T 110 °C, t 9 h. maintained catalytic performance all 5 cycles; on this basis, green synthesis technology DES system given not only promoted further application but also realized value-added utilization resource In addition, formation mechanism systematically explained through DFT calculation, reaction over explored, provide theoretical basis research.

Lignocellulose, composed of cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin, holds immense promise as a renewable resource for the production sustainable chemicals fuels. Unlocking full potential lignocellulose requires efficient pretreatment strategies. In this comprehensive review, efforts were taken to survey latest developments in polyoxometalates (POMs)-assisted conversion lignocellulosic biomass. An outstanding finding highlighted review is that deformation cellulose structure from I II accompanied by removal xylan/lignin through synergistic effect ionic liquids (ILs) POMs resulted significant increase glucose yield improved digestibility. Furthermore, successful integration with deep eutectic solvents (DES) or γ-valerolactone/water (GVL/water) systems has demonstrated lignin removal, opening avenues advanced biomass utilization. This not only presents key findings novel approaches POMs-based but also addresses current challenges prospects large-scale industrial implementation. By offering assessment progress field, serves valuable researchers industry professionals aiming harness chemical fuel production.
