include

medication.
Many
synthetic
drugs,
although
fast-acting,
can
cause
range
of
side
effects
patients
when
taken
over
long
period,
such
as
irritation
the
digestive
tract
burden
on
kidneys.
As
world's
population
ages,
prevalence
is
increasing,
development
safe
effective
urgently
needed.
Active
compounds
in
edible
medicinal
homologous
plants
have
been
used
centuries
to
improve
bone
quality.
It
possible
employ
them
dietary
supplements
prevent
osteoporosis.
In
this
review,
we
analyze
influencing
factors
systematically
summarize
research
progress
anti-osteoporosis
active
plants.
The
literature
suggests
that
some
naturally
occurring
inhibit
loss,
degeneration
cell
microstructure,
reduce
fragility
through
alleviating
oxidative
stress,
regulating
autophagy,
anti-inflammation,
improving
gut
flora,
estrogen
level
with
little
effects.
Our
review
provides
useful
guidance
use
safer
novel
supplements.
