Ethanol fractional precipitation can initially separate polysaccharides according to the structure, which exhibits strong correlation with biological activities. This study aimed investigate impact of varying ethanol concentrations on structural characteristics, and antitumor antioxidant activities derived from Dendrobium officinale through precipitation, as well their internal relationships. The acquired by absolute alcohol additions at a final liquor-ethanol volume ratio 1:1, 1:2, 1:4 were named DOP-1, DOP-2, DOP-4, supernatant was DOP-S. results analysis revealed that increase in resulted reduction molecular weights acetylation degree polysaccharides, decrease mannose content an glucose content. In vitro experiments demonstrated DOP-S exhibited optimal Animal further confirmed suppressed growth solid tumors significantly, enhanced lymphocytes, mediated immune ability, improved activity enzymes.
