: Glutinous rice (Oryza sativa glutinosa L.) is one of the varieties various plants that have a starch composition with high amylopectin and low amylose. There are differences color texture between concentration. A produces compact brownish yellow color, roots callus. show cells, embryogenesis, based percentage, These 100% whitish crumbly texture, which shows has properties.

Abstract Global environmental concerns about non‐degradable packaging materials are increasing. Carboxymethyl chitosan (CMCS), a polysaccharide widely used in the food industry, has gained attention field of packaging. Due to its biodegradability, film‐forming ability, and biocompatibility, CMCS emerged as sustainable option for degradable functional materials, offering solutions plastic pollution waste issues. This review explores delivery material, detailing synthesis methods, optimal preparation conditions, properties post‐carboxymethylation, applications alongside safety assessments. The preservation of meat via sustainable methods and packaging is an area continued interest driven by the need to address food security. use biomaterial films coatings has gained significant attention due their non-toxicity biodegradability compared with conventional synthetic films. Starch chitosan are sources for preparation films/coatings owing relatively low cost, natural abundance derived from numerous sources, biocompatibility, biodegradability, antimicrobial, antioxidant, film-forming attributes. These remarkable features have notably increased shelf life inhibiting lipid oxidation microbial activity in products. Furthermore, recent studies successfully incorporated binary biopolymer (starch chitosan) systems combine beneficial properties upon composite formation.
