Abstract
Global
environmental
concerns

Carboxymethyl
chitosan
(CMCS),
a
polysaccharide
widely
used
in
the
food
industry,
has
gained
attention
field
of
packaging.
Due
to
its
biodegradability,
film‐forming
ability,
and
biocompatibility,
CMCS
emerged
as
sustainable
option
for
degradable
functional
materials,
offering
solutions

pollution
waste
issues.
This
review
explores
delivery

detailing
synthesis
methods,
optimal
preparation
