Objective: The objective of this study was to monitor the life cycle a new active packaging (AP) based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and clove essential oil (CO), in proportion 15% w/w, be applied storage sliced bread. There is a growing demand for multifunctional materials that can meet the increasingly complex needs of modern society. The combination functionalization and intellectualization promotes development smart materials. These are not only required to possess excellent basic properties, but also need integrate multiple functions adapt various application scenarios. In this study, simple solution co-blending method preparing polyaniline-based conductive composite film was proposed. This methodology employs polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as stimuli-responsive matrix, combined with polyaniline (PANI) serving functional component, while glutaraldehyde (GA) acts crosslinking agent. PANI-based overcomes disadvantage PANI does easily form uniform film. maximum conductivity reach 0.034 S·cm−1. It worth noting PVA resulted in retained good electrical conductivity, exhibited properties. properties be controlled by external stimuli such heat, voltage, light, or water. could recover its original shape within 25 s when applied voltage reached 30 V. characteristics open up possibilities potential applications where deformation desired.
