Tremella fuciformis, as a traditional edible fungus in Asian countries, is rich polysaccharides with variety of bioactivities. Nevertheless, its high molecular weight and complex structure have caused limitations application structural analysis. In this study, we successfully screened fuciformis polysaccharide-degrading bacterium from the soil by enriching screening. The mixed consisted mainly Verrucomicrobium (55.4%) Lysobacter (43.8%), which released extracellular enzymes that enabled degradation polysaccharides. functional annotation using microbiome metagenome combined bioinformatics revealed active carbohydrate metabolism, binding, catalysis. It exposed enzymatic potential provided basis for exploration hydrolytic hardly degradable fungi.

Introduction Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a recurrent gastrointestinal disorder that significantly impacts patients’ quality of life globally. This study focuses on the polysaccharides (MP) extracted from Meconopsis integrifolia , to investigate its role in alleviating DSS (dextran sulfate sodium)-induced colitis mice. Methods The commenced with comprehensive chemical characterization . Subsequently, colitis-alleviating activity MP was validated through vivo experiments. Results results revealed primarily composed ten monosaccharides, exhibits good thermal stability, and has relatively uniform molecular weight distribution. In experiments demonstrated mitigated DSS-induced loss, increased DAI, colon shortening, tissue damage Furthermore, reduced levels inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6 serum. Mechanistically, exerted anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting activation PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. Additionally, promoted gut microbiota diversity regulated SCFA concentrations, contributing an improved intestinal microenvironment alleviation symptoms. Discussion Our findings highlight superior effectiveness open new avenues for targeted therapeutic strategies treatment IBD.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect degraded polysaccharide Acanthopanax senticosus (ASPS-1) on immunological effects and appropriate dosage broiler chicks with a view developing new feed additive. For experimental design, 180 were randomly divided into six groups, ASPS-1 low, medium high dose undegraded (ASPS) low groups blank control group. drug administered for 21 consecutive days, growth data immune organ index factors recorded 7th, 14th 21st d. Finally, intestinal flora investigated by high-throughput sequencing 16S rRNA gene correlation between main indexes analyzed, function microbial community predicted using PICRUSt2. results showed that addition could promote body weight chicks, had no significant organs, significantly promoted increase villi crypt ratio, effectively regulated levels serum antioxidant indexes. Analysis ASPS-1H proliferation Lactobacillus, Faecalibacterium, Negativibacillus, Eubacterium inhibited colonization Desulfovibrio Turicibacter, Negativibacillus associated development villi. Predictive analysis PICRUSt2 indicates functions through amino acid metabolism, global overview maps, replication repair pathways function.
