This investigation of hydroxyl and polysiloxane absorption peaks in elastic polymer composites reveals significant spectral shifts within the fingerprint region FTIR spectra. Using poly(vinyl butyral) (PVB) as base acetate) (PVAc) alcohol) (PVA) reference materials, solvent effects on polymer–solvent interactions were systematically analyzed. Among tested alcohol solvents, PEG 400 induced most pronounced changes, with C=O stretching band shifting from 1740 to 1732 cm−1 O–H significantly broadening downshifting around 3300 cm−1, reflecting strong hydrogen-bonding interactions. Wavelet-based noise reduction effectively enhanced signal-to-noise ratio, reducing baseline standard deviation by over 90%. study introduces a novel noise-enhanced recognition model that integrates metrics improve detection sensitivity. The successfully uncovers subtle structural variations systems are typically masked conventional techniques, advancing materials analysis providing robust framework for future FTIR-based diagnostics material characterization.
